“America’s strength comes from its ingenuity and relentless drive to solve hard problems—fueling the world’s greatest technological eras. As ALFA has noted, we’re on the edge of another transformation that will benefit the American people.
“But a government shutdown threatens this momentum, undermining the public-private partnerships powering innovation. Democrats’ refusal to pass a simple continuing resolution is an abdication of leadership, halting progress while global competitors surge ahead.
“Many Senate Democrats have supported near-identical funding bills in the past; now they must stand up again and prevent the self-inflicted wound of a shutdown.“
